    Jackie Coates is a native South Texan and a nationally certified Physician Assistant with 18 years of experience. She has worked in various areas, including Orthopedic-Trauma, Sports Medicine, and now specializes in Wound Care. Jackie’s goal is to connect with patients, educating them on wound treatment and prevention. Her passion lies in providing quality and current wound care treatments that truly make a difference in people’s lives.

  • Shannon Lillard, MSN, FNP-C, WCC

    NURSE PRACTITIONER

    Shannon has enjoyed a career in healthcare for over 10 years. She received her Master of Science in Nursing through the University of Texas at Arlington in 2021. Shannon is board certified through the AANP and has her wound care certification through the NAWCO. Shannon has a love for all things health and wellness and feels that all patients deserve the utmost care. In her free time, Shannon enjoys traveling with her family and spending time outdoors.

  • Melissa (Missy) Gorbet, RN, WCC, MSN, FNP-C

    NURSE PRACTITIONER

    Missy is a native of the Coastal Bend area. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M Corpus Christi in 2016 and is board certified through the AANP. Missy has her wound care certification through the NAWCO and has over 20 years of experience in wound care as well as hyperbaric therapy. She is always up for a challenge and has a passion for helping her patients heal. When Missy is not with her patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandbabies.

  • Roxana Reyna, APRN, NP-C, CWON-AP

    NURSE PRACTITIONER

    Roxana is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with 25 years of healthcare experience who found her passion for wound care while caring for the babies and children of South Texas. Roxana received her Wound Ostomy certification through Emory University in 2014 and a master’s degree in nursing from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi in 2017. Roxana has published patient outcomes in medical journals, received awards for her innovative work in wound care, and serves as a speaker for National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO) conferences. Outside of work, Roxana enjoys gardening and spending time with her family and fur babies.

  • Lorraine Antoni, APRN, FNP-C, WCC

    NURSE PRACTITIONER

    Lorraine is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with over 30 years of health care experience. She is Wound Care certified and specializes in state-of-the-art cellular therapy. Lorraine’s goal is to help her patients achieve the highest level of overall health. When Lorraine is not working with patients, she is in her garden or making jewelry.

  • Carla Romeo, LVN

    LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE

    Carla has been an LVN since 2013 and has specialized in providing care and treatment to patients with acute and chronic wounds. She has additional training in wound care through specialized certifications and continuing education courses. She plays a critical role in promoting wound healing, preventing complications, and improving the quality of life for patients with wounds.

  • Chrissy Fuentes, LVN

    LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE

    Chrissy has been an LVN since 2018 and has worked in various healthcare specialties. Throughout her career, she has found that wound care holds a special place in her heart. As a wound care nurse, Chrissy has advanced training and expertise in the treatment of wounds and is passionate about educating patients and their families about wound care management and prevention techniques. She is committed to providing the highest level of care possible to all her patients and takes great pride in her work.

  • Delia Guerra, CCMA

    MEDICAL ASSISTANT

    Delia is the Front Office Coordinator/ Medical Assistant at Bona Fide Medical. She is a bilingual Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with 5 years of hands-on wound care experience with a passion for serving the underprivileged in her community. She is a mother of 3 teenage boys and an avid supporter of Carroll High School Baseball. When you don’t see her at the front desk, you can find her in the back office lending a helping hand to her colleagues.

  • Lisa Romero

    OFFICE MANAGER

    Lisa, the Office Manager at Bona Fide Medical, brings over 35 years of experience in the medical field. With an associate degree in computer operations from Del Mar College, she possesses extensive knowledge in medical office management, team building, and coordinating office policies and procedures. Lisa is dedicated to ensuring patients have the best possible experience. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband.

    Natalie, the Benefits Coordinator at Bona Fide Medical, is a Corpus Christi native and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. In her free time, she enjoys seashell hunting at the beach, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her husband and dog. Natalie’s faith and passion for helping others led her to participate in medical missions in the Dominican Republic, and she supports the mission at Bona Fide Medical and the team’s commitment to healing the local community under Dr. Barber’s leadership.
